social programmes

With the active participation of our teachers, London College of English offers a wide range of afternoon and evening activities (including sightseeing tours and visiting places of historical and cultural interest)-to entertain and to provide students with an insight into London and British culture.

We organise social events for our students during most of the year, which include: Term parties, evenings in cafes, pubs and restaurants, cultural visits to museums, theatres etc, short trips to different places of interest in the UK.

Advice is given to all our students with all kinds of problems from losing passports, to finding a local doctor. We offer help with visa applications, bank account openings and finding accommodation. We do our best to make sure our students' time with us is happy. Every assistance is given to students to ensure that they enrol on a course which is appropriate and of real benefit to them. Students are encouraged to consult members of staff about their progress, and to discuss any topics they find difficult. Apart from advising on purely academic matters, help is also given to ease students' worries about any problems they may encounter outside the college.
