RULES & CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT

1. Students must be over 16 and a minimum deposit including registration fee must be paid to reserve a place on your chosen course. This fee is not refundable unless the college decides not to run that particular course. If you wish to send your application by post or fax, use the print application form and send this together with the registration fee. Alternatively you can send your application directly using the online application form and we will contact you for the registration fee after checking your details.

2. If official evidence is given by a Government authority stating that you can not attend school for unavoidable reasons which are not your own responsibility, and all original documents, certificates and receipts issued by the college are returned, then the college will refund course fees paid, less £175. However,

  • (a) before any refunds can be made, the college will first contact the Entry Clearance Officer at the relevant overseas High Commission to confirm that no visa has been given.
  • (b) The college must be informed in writing at least 4 weeks prior to course commencement - otherwise £500 will be retained.

3. If a notice of cancellation for any other reasons is made in writing 4 weeks or more before the start of the course, then the college will refund course fees paid, less £300. If the notice of cancellation is less than 4 weeks, then, the £500 is not refundable. However, in both cases, students who have commenced lectures and / or have been issued with college documents to confirm their student status with the Home Office, employers, and other third parties are not eligible for refunds.

4. If the college decides not to run a particular course, then all the course fees paid will be refunded.

5. The student agrees to attend classes as directed by the college every week during term time. Any student making insufficient progress on a course or who proves to have insufficient qualifications will be transferred to a simpler one.

6. Any absence of three days or more must be supported by a medical certificate from a doctor.

7. Should poor attendance or prolonged absence result in authorities taking action against the student, then fees paid will not be returnable should such action result in the student leaving the college. Failure to obey college rules or to pay course fees as and when due may lead to suspension and/ or expulsion from the college. No fees will be refunded in such cases.

8. Whilst studying at the college the student agrees to keep the college informed of any change of address. The information supplied on the application form must be true and correct.

9. The student must have sufficient funds of support during a period of full-time study. Any services provided by the college are at the college’s discretion. Books recommended by the college must be purchased within the first three weeks of a course commencing.

10. The college reserves the right not to run a particular course due to lack of a viable number of students, and to transfer any student to its other branches or to associated colleges.

11. The college also reserves the right to terminate any student’s studies without giving any reason in which case full fees are refundable.

12. Reservations are accepted on the understanding that the students have read and agreed to the published rules and conditions of enrolment.
